FinALLY.... I star 2008 was oveR. I havE been sufferinG for 4 weeks... ever sincE the Audition--> Heat --> Semi final --> Final. It was a lonG journeY... Luckily my FYP presentatioN ended before my Heat started. I put in quite a loT of efforT to choose songs throughouT the whole competition. I wanted to givE up when i kneW tat i was the 5th among the top 5 after the semi final. I didnt want to take part in the final sincE i kneW tat my chance of winninG was small.... I was afraid to lose and i felt very tireD after stuggling for 3 weeks. However, wheneveR i thoughT of how my friends voted for me, cheer for me, encourage me and help me in this competition, i felt very touch and bad if i were to give up just like that. If i didnt want to win, why i ask for voting in the 1st place??
Finally... i went for the final at TRCC. Actually i wasn't that nervous, until the dry run part whereby i realized that changing key of my sonG was not the samE as how i change in my com. They sounds so diff!!! How am i going to sing??? It's too low.... if i were to sing one octave up, it would be too high.... What should i do??? My tears nearlY burst out... i had nothing to say, i had to continue... and i did so. I sang the low key.. and i was shot by the judges jialat jialat then... as espected :( But honestly, i put in a lot of effort in finding the background music, deciding the song and even practised dancing!!! omg... end up it was the worsT song that i performed last nite...
After all, i got a 1st runner up. I didnt really feel happy, i didnt feel sad either. I had no feeling... at all actually... because i Saw everyone's performancE laz nitE... And i knew tat i wouldnt get the campion becos of mY Chinese song... But wht to do??? I am satisfied... at leasT i got a 1st runner up for this competition. I've tried my best :)
